diamondhead groupies moneyclipped together
colby-swiss-n-cheddar
in search of sunsurf catharsis

a monet or two of something
pertaining to "downtime"

as becca and i lay our silverwares
out to pawn for rent

to afford this warm
glistening lounge music
alienating hotel from home

surreal allsmile academy
frontrow seat in mama's strong arms,
lithe waves cool the anxiety

of not selling this poem
my laptop cosmic, crediting
transcendence

awash in fees
