poolhall fray

into the fray of the poolhall night
swaying its ocean of human spirit o'er the deck
dancing girls holding cuesticks and beers
all the posturing and face one can imagine
bringing strangers together braided in physical contest
highlighted by long spears
bandied loosely as one stalks the table for next shot,
possibilities.
